I don't like the cold. I don't like it one little bit! Do you want to know why?
Your ears freeze, your hands and fingers freeze, your nostrils and everything inside of them freezes. Then you put your nose in your scarf to get warm and everything in your nose melts so all of the sudden you have a runny nose until you pull the scarf off and then everything that was running from your nose freezes on your face. Not fun.
Also- I have never had to live and drive in the snow before, It is almost fun sometimes just to maneuver the car around and such HOWEVER... it is really not fun when you hit a patch of black ice out of no where and feel the car lose traction underneath you. I don't like that.
Also, you have to RUN from gym to car, to home, to school to car again-if you don't run you will probably turn into a big statue icicle... i don't know that for sure, because i have never stopped running to find out.
It was 5 degrees when we woke up the other morning. That is dang cold.
Amid all of these gloomy occurrences that unfortunately take place when it is Eskimo weather- i found the silver lining on the rain cloud.
This tree was covered in frost, but looked beautiful! Doesn't it look like you could just walk up and lick off some yummy frosting?

My heat dish used to be my bff until it started buzzing at me randomly and scaring the crap out of me! I'm so glad you have moments of warmth at night. I really don't know how you are handling that kind of cold- 5 degrees? Talk about the bitter. At least you are now more fully aware of the "sweet" that is california.
Sounds horrible... I hate the cold too, though your heater sounds sweet!
I'm right there with ya. I can't stand it when my boogers freeze...
you are oh so cute, emily! don't turn into a popsicle okay!
Oh man, I haven't forgotten those cold Rexburg days...nothing is worse that being cold. I think that's what hell will be like :)
I love our wood stove, the heat from it is SOOO cozy!
