We enjoyed a wonderful weekend of partying it up with Chulie! (Chad & Julie) and their boys. ("Chulie" name courtesy of Kaley) :)
We had a blast showing them around campus and playing with their boys...

We had a blast showing them around campus and playing with their boys...
After our tour we decided to bowl a game! It was a lot of fun and the boys were so cute. And they are pretty good! (I think Clayton beat me in one of the games) I have no shame in sharing this.
He's just an unusually talented bowler :)
Then there was some serious bowling going on. Especially on Brett & Chad's end.
I think Chad was the champion in the end.
Kaley, Me and Clayton; which foot is whose?? Can you tell??
I'll give you a hint; mine's in the middle... :)
It wouldn't be a trip up here without a trip to Craigo's
We love this place, and although we get sick every-time we go, from porking out-
it's so worth it.
And plus, I feel like since I paid for the buffet, I wouldn't get my monies worth if I wasn't sickly full... (After reading that sentence and realizing it's truthfulness, I may be at risk for obesity if I eat at a lot of buffet restaurants in the future...)
They went and saw Robin Hood.
While they were out watching their gory film, Julie and I opted to watch 'Bride Wars' at home. A less violent, less bow&arrowy, lower stress movie. My kind of movie.
We put the boys to bed, but little Bennett was so hyper, he was keeping the older boys awake. Chulie decided to leave Bennett's pack 'n play at home, so we thought maybe he needed to be in a tightly confined space to fall asleep. So where can you find a tightly confined space in our tiny apartment??
The Bath tub!!
He fell right asleep.
Clayton had been wanting to see a snake our whole excursion.
We were walking along the path and I noticed the tall grass to my left swaying oddly.
I looked and all I saw was HUGE back with two yellow stripes on it coming to eat me.
I yelled sooo incredibly loud, (or so they tell me) "It's a snake, It's a snake!!" And ran the fastest I have ever run as far away from that grass as I could. I was terrified.
Where as I was ready to shrivel up and die out of fear, Clayton & Kaley found pure excitement and fun. They both jumped in the grass, toward the snake and began searching for it.
Then, I ran and stood up on a huge boulder as far off the ground as I could.
Then, to my dismay, and to Kaley's joy, she found the snake,
picked it's up by it's tail and handed it to Clayton!!!
What if it had huge fangs and bit her and she died??
As you can tell, I'm not a snake person.
So, Clayton continued to carry it for the next 15 min, to show Chad and Brett and Conner. All of whom were equally as excited and happy about the discovery. (I don't think that's normal, but apparently in this family- I'm the odd one out...) :)
At least that's how I interpreted it...
Despite the near death experience with the snake, it was a fun weekend and we are already planning their next trip in the fall... right guys?! :)
Thanks Chulie and boys for coming!!
p.s. "weekend at party pier"- for those of you unfortunate souls who have not been blessed to see it, is from this wonderful movie! I highly recommend it.
