Sisters Weekend

A couple weeks ago all my sisters came into town for a girls weekend.
It was so much fun to all be together!
Carrie and Brooke left all their kids at home (except for baby Haley of course)- so they realllly enjoyed this trip. Sleeping in, making treats, it was fun!

Of course it is not a complete trip until Carrie makes a few of her divine chocolate creations.
This night she turned this...
into this...
it was heavenly!
Baked Hot Chocolate, she calls it...
We hung out in SF one day. We rode the cable car to fisherman's wharf- & ate some delicious lunch....

Then we headed to Ghirardelli square for some more chocolate!

My hot chocolate was perrrrfect. It was steamed milk, and then you dropped a few of the chocolate squares in, stirred it up- and got hot chocolate. I loved it.
Cable car ride home!

We also went to union square- shopped at Saks fifth avenue. ok, didn't shop, really went in and walked around and laughed at the $3,000 price tag that hung on about every article of clothing in there.
Especially when the the article of clothing looked like it was designed & made by a blind trash can. crazy stuff in there. But it was fun, we liked listening to a lady tell us about 50 different perfumes and spraying them all over ourselves.

At the end of the day, Mr. Parker had been worn out
Brett came over a couple times because he missed us :)
this is Parker looking out the window, waiting for dad...

Of course it wouldn't be a trip home without walking downtown Benicia, and enjoying the view
We also started a new tradition of "daddy daughter" date on our girls trip. This time we went out to breakfast with our dad. We told him he could plan the next date. We are expecting the next one to be mountain biking, or shooting, or a car lesson or something else manly :)

I just have to smile looking at the pictures, such a fun time with my daughters! I love the pic of the Carquinez bridge, it would make a nice watercolor! Parker looking out the window is adorable.
