My mom and I went on a date tonight and we saw this movie.
My review is an A+
So this movie was fun for me to watch her make the different sauces, and cakes and even cook some cool things like lobster, although it does seem a little cruel just to boil crustaceans likes that.
Meryl Streep is so funny, and I think she's an amazing actress.
It was so funny how she appeared so gigantic throughout the whole movie, because, apparently, she was!
If you've seen the movie you MUST watch this you tube video.
This is the real Julia Child. She's so funny and sparatic like she is in the movie.

I really like this poster.
I think it perfectly places my reason why i would never try and do what 'Julie' did in the movie. I could never try and take on Julia Child's recipes.
I just don't have what it takes!
I have made one to many things that have not turned out.
(Brett can attest to this...for example his birthday cake!)
Maybe some day soon i'll work up the courage do go through a cook book like this.
Another thought i had during the movie was how expensive it must have been for her to buy all these crazy things like a cow leg!!
The thing that made me most happy about this movie was how cute of a realtionship they portrayed Julia and her husband to have.
They were always so nice to eachother and Julia was ALWAYS so happy!
Maybe it would get annoying after a while, but her always happy demeanor was so fun to watch.
It was an inspiration for me, and i'm going to try and be plesant and happy
ALL THE TIME!
ok, maybe not all the time, that's not normal- and i'd get one someone's nerves.
But i do need to get better at complaing less and looking on the bright side more.
The End.

You are a great cook and baker! I blame the cake not turning out on the altitude of Rexburg! Love you!
Em, some day you will have "Emily's Cafe" and bake amazing things for everyone to enjoy. You ARE a good cook. For instance, how long does your bread last after you take if out of the oven? Maybe 2 hrs. if that long.
You are always happy, like in the mornings, when I drag out of bed and I hear your perky "Hi Mom" like you've been up for hours.
Emily I love to bake too. If you open "Emily's Cafe" can I work there? It used to be my dream to open a bakery. I really enjoyed this movie. I definitely don't think Dave would have- it's not really for men. But I loved her happiness and their marriage the most. The video didn't work when I tried it. I'll have to go look it up.
I'm excited to see this! Thanks for the review
