The 2wenty 4our saga continues...

(I like this picture; Jack is kind of like the modern day Chuck Norris)
See?? The huge picture of them dominating the landscape... you don't wanna mess with these guys! Even the mountains and huge sky scrapers are scared of them!

I'm not a huge fan of 24- but because Brett is, I watch it too.
During the show however, I'm usually saying things like this:

  • "That would never happen!"
  • "Someone would notice her!"
  • "They would so be caught by now."
  • "The bomb would not blow up like that"
  • "He would have been dead by now"

Usually, 3/4 of the way through the episode Brett has to tell me to be quiet and not say anything else like this. I guess I ruin if for him.

I don't like watching 24 or a few reasons, 1) During the show my heart is beating so fast, and I get so nervous that I feel sick 2) After the episode is over I am convinced that the world is ending in real life, and 3) After the episode, every corner I turn in our apartment I feel like there is a gunman who is silently waiting for me.

I guess I have a hard time separating fake, TV life from real life.
Does that have a name??
"Failure to separate scary TV shows from real life syndrome?"
Sounds like that's what I have!

Although I just rambled on about how much I don't like the show, guess what??
I have to watch every episode every Monday.
Do you know why? Because those screen writers are dang good at what they do... Every episode ends in a twist of catastrophic events that just will make me cry if I don't see the next episode!

Go Jack! Save the world!

wow! you have been busy. Nate is the same way with toilet paper. But I think he likes the thick stuff cause it clogs the toilet better. That may be his favorite past time...any weird that you milked a goat. You can milk anything with nipples you know...24...

Yeah, like last night when his ribs were broken from being shot in the vest by a machine gun and he does the usual, "I'm fine" thing and jumps up and is back in combat. Hey, Jack- remember when you were stabbed in the stomach about 4 or 5 hours ago? Oh, and TORTURED? I think sometimes he forgets.
